Fees for the Production and Technology Course are £5995 payable in advance and non refundable once the student has commenced study. On signing up to the course a deposit of £150 is required, refundable against course fees.
No formal qualifications are necessary for entrance. Entrance is by interview and is based on our assessment of interest and potential success. Applicants must be 18 years of age at the commencement of the course. Overseas students will be expected to have an IELTS average score of seven in English. Mature and post graduate students are welcome.

On successful completion of the course the school awards a Certificate in Technical Production.
During the training and project weeks the contact hours are in excess of 35 per week. During placements the contact hours with the placement provider are in excess of 30 per week. To get the most out of the placements students will be expected to follow the working pattern of the host organisation. This may involve evenings and weekends. During placements a member of the School staff will be in regular contact.
Students will be expected to provide themselves with basic personal protective equipment which must include Steel Toecap shoes or boots and work gloves. Students will also need a basic toolkit, smart black clothing for work on shows and a laptop computer.
Students will be required to join BECTU as new freelancers which will provide them with Public Liability Cover of up to five million pounds. Freelance work: The School must be consulted before any freelance work is accepted. Permission will be granted wherever possible.
